Lutheran Service Book Approved!

After some very solid debate and discussion, the Voters' Assembly approved switching to the Lutheran Service Book at it's regular March meeting.Members can purchase copies for their own use or for the congregation (optionally in memory of a loved one) until April 27th.  See bulletin inserts for details.

No date for receiving and dedicating these new hymnals has been selected as of this time.

Introducing the Lutheran Service Book

During Bible Class hour this morning member had a chance to ask question about the new Lutheran Service Book. The Elders and Pastors have recommended adoption of this hymnal and today was a chance for members to make statements regarding it and ask questions.

The session went rather well and will be continued next week. At next weeks Bible Class hour a 20 minute video about this hymnal will be presented.

If you are interested, please plan to attend this informational session! And, if you are not a member of the Voters' Assembly, make plans to attend future meetings since this body has the final say over adoption of this hymnal.
