Principal’s Corner                                                                                The Miracles of Christ
Throughout the day there are many times when we pray; in the morning, at lunch, before a test and when we get into bed before we sleep.  The Bible shares times and occasions when Jesus prayed as well.  The “High Priestly” prayer is found in John: 17.  This prayer came during a tough time for Jesus.  Jesus prayed not just for Himself, but for His disciples who were far from perfect followers.  He also prayed for you and me.  You and I are sinners for whom He went to the cross.  He prayed that we would have unity which means He prayed that we would believe in Him as our Savior, to love Him, and to love each other.  Prayer does have miraculous power, and by the Holy Spirit’s work Jesus’ prayer comes to life for us.

Please keep the 7th and 8th graders and their chaperones in your prayers as they travel back from Washington D.C.

Have a “Decent” week!
Mr. Baerwolf

Each Wednesday: during Chapel we take a collection that is used to support various mission projects around the world.  Our great God has given us so many blessings and we like to share those gifts with others.  So students don’t forget your Chapel Offerings!

Scrip Program:  Emmanuel Lutheran School participates in the Scrip Program each week.  You will have the opportunity to purchase gift cards from various businesses and Emmanuel receives a percentage of each card sold.  Orders are due by Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. and are ready to pick up by Thursday afternoon.  You may also check out the website; www.glscrip.com for special deals and new companies that have been added to the program.
