Things get so dirty nowadays; hands, clothes, dishes, pots, pans, and even things like sliver and gold jewelry.  We need all kinds of special cleaners to get the different things clean.  Our sin makes us unclean and dirty in God’s sight.  Even the best person in the world is still unclean before Him.  Our holy God cannot simply excuse sin, and say, “Well it’s O.K.”  God cares about sin and must punish those who do wrong.  That’s why Easter is so precious.  Jesus not only kept God’s Law perfectly for us, but He also died for us, taking upon Himself all the punishment we deserve.  When God our Father raised Jesus from the dead, it was for our justification and forgiveness.  We can’t do it alone.  Instead, being firmly rooted in God’s Word and branching out in faith, we turn to Jesus.  By Him we are perfectly clean. 

Emmanuel Lutheran School will be hosting a Curriculum Fair on Friday, April 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Samples of students’ work throughout the year will be displayed and hors d’oeuvres will be served.  It will be a great time to see all the God given talents our students possess as they learn more about our God and world each day.
